Job Summary:

The HVAC Systems Designer's primary functions are to engineer MEP systems, particularly HVAC, for commercial Design Build projects, conduct facility condition assessments, generate specifications, and produce detailed drafting and design layouts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and engineer MEP systems, focusing on HVAC, for new commercial Design Build projects across diverse locations.
  • Perform facility condition assessments and execute construction administration tasks.
  • Create specifications, conduct load calculations, and choose suitable HVAC equipment.
  • Produce detailed drafting and design layouts using drafting software.
  • Conduct field surveys to gather necessary project data.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders throughout design and construction phases.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations related to HVAC design and engineering.

Requirements

Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred; equivalent HVAC design experience accepted.
  • 5+ years of experience in Mechanical HVAC engineering and design.
  • PE Certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in CADD software (AutoCAD, Revit) for drafting and design.
  • Strong grasp of energy codes, ASHRAE standards, and psychrometric analysis.
  • Experience with equipment selection, HVAC load calculations, building codes, and systems design.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Project Management experience is a bonus.

Tustin Energy Solutions, LLC is seeking two qualified individuals to perform the installation and programming of HVAC automation systems in the PA/NJ, and MD areas. 


Position Responsibilities:

  • Ability to install, troubleshoot, and service building automation systems.
  • Installations will include work with line voltage wiring, low voltage wiring, unitary HVAC controllers, actuators, relays, sensors, and end devices.
  • Responsible for programming of unitary controllers, area controllers, and web-based applications.
  • Conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing of systems.
  • Ability to understand and interpret the sequence of operation for basic HVAC systems (CAV, VAV, Multi-zone, etc.).

The Customer Experience Service Coordinator is responsible for assisting internal and external customers to make sure all duties and responsibilities are met. The Customer Experience Service Coordinator dispatches service technicians according to the scheduling needs and receives customer calls and adjusts the schedule as required; along with daily administrative duties.

  • Audit service reports daily in accordance with established procedures.
  • Be a customer advocate while capturing customer feedback and reporting it to the Leadership Team.
  • Continually build and maintain a network of relationships amongst the customers and The Tustin Group.

  • Close a sufficient number of new agreements to meet or surpass quarterly/annual sales targets.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date recording of sales activities and notes in the company CRM.
  • Attend weekly meetings with managers to review sales activities and performance against targets.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all potential customer inquiries and needs.
  • Maintain daily communication with your manager and remain available for redirection as needed.
  • Fulfill other duties and tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

Experience/Education:

  • 3-5 years of successful B2B sales experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with specific job-related experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in prospecting and appointment setting.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Skills:

  • Proficient in computer skills, including the use of software platforms such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom, and shared cloud-based drives.
  • Self-motivated, confident, independent, and highly organized.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned sales territory as required.
  • Skilled in negotiation and overcoming objections.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Highly motivated and goal driven.
  • Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Exhibits tenacity and resilience.
  • Openness to learning and coachability.
  • Consistently represents the company in a positive and professional manner.
  • Adheres to established sales training, strategies, and processes.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, type, and operate office technology such as computers, printers, copy machines, and calculators.
  • Must be capable of lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to distinguish colors and engage in repetitive fine manipulation frequently.
  • Capable of navigating uneven surfaces and climbing ladders.
